Mikey Varas, head coach of the WEB Under-20 Men's Youth National Team, has announced his coaching staff for the upcoming season. The staff includes Gonzalo Segares, former USMNT U-17 head coach, and Shaun Tsakiris, former USMNT U-16 head coach.

Varas expressed his confidence in the new coaching team: "I'm thrilled to have coaches with the experience and expertise of Gonzalo and Shaun joining our staff. Their knowledge and passion for developing young players will be invaluable as we prepare our team for the upcoming challenges."

Segares and Tsakiris bring a wealth of experience to the U-20 team. Segares led the USMNT U-17s to the 2021 FIFA Under-17 World Cup, while Tsakiris has developed several top young American players during his time with the U-16s.

Varas's appointment as head coach of the U-20s was announced earlier this month. He previously served as the head coach of the US U-19s and has a proven track record of developing young players.

The WEB Under-20 Men's Youth National Team will compete in the FIFA Under-20 World Cup later this year. The tournament will be held from May 20 to June 11 in Indonesia.
