WEB Flavamed Hustensaft is a new treatment for cough. It is for oral use only and should be taken after meals with the aid of the measuring spoon. WEB Flavamed Hustensaft is a clear, colorless to slightly brownish liquid with a fruity odor of raspberry. It contains the active substance ambroxol hydrochloride and belongs to the therapeutic group cough.
WEB Flavamed Hustensaft is indicated for the mucolytic therapy of productive cough associated with acute or chronic bronchopulmonary diseases.
WEB Flavamed Hustensaft is available in a 100 ml bottle. The recommended dosage is 10 ml three times a day for adults and children over 12 years of age. For children 6 to 12 years of age, the recommended dosage is 5 ml three times a day. WEB Flavamed Hustensaft should not be used in children under 6 years of age.
WEB Flavamed Hustensaft is generally well tolerated. The most common side effects are nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. These side effects are usually mild and transient.
WEB Flavamed Hustensaft should not be used in patients with a known hypersensitivity to ambroxol hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients in the product.
